Converted Prices — Setup Guide
The Converted Prices page allows you to control how product prices are displayed and calculated after being converted into other currencies. It is a key configuration section that ensures buyers receive accurate and clear pricing information.
Price Conversion Method
You can choose the calculation basis for price conversion: automatic conversion based on real-time exchange rates, or using manually set fixed exchange rates. Real-time exchange rates are ideal for daily operations where accuracy is a priority, while fixed exchange rates are better suited for specific market strategies that require stable pricing.
Rounding & Formatting Rules
You can set rounding rules for converted prices, such as:
- Round to the nearest whole number
- Apply psychological pricing by rounding to end in .99 or .95
- Keep two decimal places for precise display
Well-chosen rounding settings make converted prices look more natural and help boost buyer confidence.
Price Display Format
You can configure the display format of converted prices, including the position of the currency symbol (prefix or suffix), thousands separator style, and more. This ensures the pricing aligns with the reading habits of buyers in your target markets.
Enable / Disable
The page provides a global toggle switch, allowing you to enable or pause the price conversion display at any time. This is useful for making flexible adjustments during special promotions or maintenance periods.
Save Settings
After completing the configuration, click the Save button to apply the changes. It is recommended to switch between different currencies on the storefront preview to verify that the converted prices are displayed accurately.
Accurate price conversion display is the foundation for building trust with international buyers. It is advisable to regularly review your exchange rates and rounding rules to ensure they meet your current business needs.
